Making Disciples of our Kids

We believe that parents have been given the joy and responsibility of raising their children in the ways of Jesus, and we are committed to supporting families in raising their children and providing opportunities for them to live life as disciples. We believe this is best done in community by exposing children to diverse relationships of all ages, which happens primarily through our Gospel Communities.

In addition, we equip parents to raise their kids through gospel-centered teaching and training, as well as by developing teachers to provide great, age-focused ministry during our Sunday gatherings.  Each gathering is a special opportunity for our children to be together as they grow and learn how to walk in the ways of Jesus in this community.

Kids at our Sunday Gatherings

Children are normally taken to their classes before the gathering begins, but they are also welcome to participate in the gathering with their parents. We leave it up to parents to decide what is best for their family, and the classes are organized so that kids who arrive after the singing portion of the gathering will not miss out on any teaching or associated activities.

We offer Kids’ classes Nursery through 5 years. Our Lower Elementary Class (Kinder - 2nd Grade) and Upper Elementary Class (3rd - 5th Grade) meets the first and third Sunday of the month. Kid classes open 10 minutes before the gathering begins and continue through the end of the gathering Safety & Security

We want to ensure that all children participating in Redeemer Kids classes are safe and secure. All volunteers who work with kids are required to pass a background check and screening process, and a minimum of two volunteers are required to be with kids at all times. Parents are given a security tag that matches a unique code with each family. Security tags are checked at pick-up to ensure children leave with their families.
